Riding Lessons and Training
Have fun, get fit, learn to ride!
Our lessons are based on the classical principles of riding. Dressage and hunt seat are included. This gives riders a secure seat that enables them to excel at any discipline. Lessons are taught Sunday through Friday, during the day and early evening.

Homeschool Horse Riding Program
Fox Ridge is proud to be serving the homeschool families with these new classes, which combine riding lessons with horse anatomy, book clubs, and more! Each two-hour class will consist of one 45 minute riding lesson and 1 hour ground lesson, with the lessons tailored to age groupings. Students will have hands-on opportunities to learn about:
Care and feeding, grooming
Riding
Saddlery
Students will also read a horse-related book and there will be a brief book discussion /project on week four of each sessions. Our goal is that your child will come out of this class with a better understanding of the relationship between horse and rider.

These sessions provide a “horse crazy” boy or girl with the continuity necessary to truly improve their skills.
Children are offered a one-hour group horse riding lesson. Supervision is provided for the time outside of horse riding instruction. Children may do homework, observe other horseback riding lessons and horse training or do minimal horse care activities or other chores around the farm.
